Attitude of Positive and Willingness

Attitude is everything. I believe that there is nothing under the sun that I can not do. As long as I am positive and willing, nothing is impossible with God. In my view, appositive attitude is essential to bring anything to pass. It is essential to see the upside of everything. Being positive about any thing and everything is the key to spotting opportunity. It is the key to bring light to people around you. People are attracted to light, attracted to positive view. We have enough of negative people in the world or even in the church; they are not shining for God in the world. But I want to be positive in every situation, because I know there are no problem can be greater than my God, Jesus Christ.

If there is a will there is a way! Willingness is an important key to life. The unwilling people is difficult to accomplish any task, there are always reasons why they can not finish the task well. I love to work with people who are willing. When 3 people who are willing to do the serve, the result is much better than 10 people who are not willing to serve. Often achievement doesn’t have a lot to do with faith, education or money but the attitude of willingness.

leadership 2 -Specific objective

Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008

I believe God has showed me a very specific direction and objective of my lives. Since he has called me and showed me the direction and objective I believe He will empowered me to accomplish the task that He gave me. He has called me to be like Moses in my generation to lead young people out of their land of slavery. So I know my vocation is to serve the young people. I need to equip myself in order I know how to lead the young people in my generation.

Young people in this generation they need a model for them to follow. The young people are like the lost sheep, they are very easy to go astray from God and fall into the hand of the evil. Matthew 9:36-38 “He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” I have the passion from God to work and serve the young people. God has showed me that people of the age of 13 to the age of 30 are the most important people. They are the future of the church and the future of the world. If we can get young people we can get the world. Acts 2:17, four group of people mention in this 1 verse, 3out of 4 are talking about young people.

Satan want to fool us by let us have the thinking that is hard to reach out to young people because they are busy with their study and pursuit after worldly thing. Satan know the age group of the 13/30 window is the most open to God, so he will not let us get the young people without a fight. So Satan will try to stop them getting saved. If he can not stop them getting saved he will try to stop young people to get on fire for God. Satan comes to kill, steal and destroy, he tries to fool us by telling us the young people are not important and they are trouble for the church.

God has showed me that the young people are very powerful and useful for the

Kingdom

of

God

. Joseph got his dream when is about 16 to 17, that he is going to be a savior for his generation. David kills Goliath when he is about 18-19 years old, become a savior, godly king of the nation. Jeremiah, when is been call by God he is just a youth. He felt unworthy and incapable to do what God told have told him. But God say to him “do not say I am a youth, for you shall go to all to whom I have send you.” (Jer 1:4-8). So I have committed myself to serve the young people in my generation, just as the Lord has given me the vision to lead young people out of the land of slavery. With the specific objective I know where I am heading to.

Leadership

Tuesday, April 1st, 2008

“If anyone sets his heart on being an overseer, he desires a noble task.” 1Timothy 3:1 Most Christians have reservation about aspiring to leadership. They are unsure about whether it is truly right for a person want to be leader. After all, is it not better for the position seeks out the person rather than the person seeks out the position? Has not ambition caused the downfall of numerous otherwise great leaders in church, people who fell victim to the “last infirmity of noble minds”? No doubt, Christians must resist a certain kind of ambition and rid it from their lives. But we must understand other ambition as noble, worthy and honorable. In 1Timothy 3:1, Paul encourages us, when our ambition carries out a burning desire to be effective in the service of God, it is a noble desire and task. The rise and fall of the society or church is depending on the quality of leader. The role of leaders in the church is to set things in order so that the church will be healthy, and only a healthy church will produce healthy growth. Leaders change the world; they don’t leave the world the same way they found it. As leaders when we are working and building the Kingdom of God, we are defending the attack from the devil. I like a saying, “The triumph of evil is when good man does nothing”. This saying shows me that we Christians should take up the responsible of leadership to change the world for better. Do not scare that we will fail or make it worse. In Genesis 1:28, God have commanded us to be leaders and have dominion over the world. So to be a leader should be the goal for every Christians.
