church camp
last weekend was GEPC church camp held in MBS, Rawang. we have about 40 people attended the camp. the purpose of the camp is to build relationship between the young people and pastors and God as well.
on 14/9 (Fri) we leave church around 6:45pm and reach the camp site at about 8:20pm. after our dinner i lead the whole camp to play a game to warm them up and Rod lead the worship. Ps Chin spoke on Evangelism and he gave an altar call, young people responded. i saw people are crying and longing to bring the gospel back to their school. during supper time some youth continue to be in the hall praying and reading the bible, untill i need to ask them go back and rest because is about 2am in the morning.
next day morning Reuben lead the worship, the presence of God was so amazing. pastor invited 2 laywers to come and speak on the topic of "Islamization", so that we will be awake what happening in Malaysia. after the lunch zixin lead us to worship and i felt that we need to spend more time to in God’s word and in prayer, so i asked all the young people to find a place to read thier bible and pray. we just hang around in the hall for about 2- 3 hours till we have "enough". then we go for sport and game. during the night session Ps Koshy continue to speak on how we christians we face persecutions in this world and how we should respond to it. When he gave an altar call about the fear of man, lots of young people came forward to been prayed for and some of them crying, fall under the power of God and been set free from the "fear". people reddedicated their life to God. and we continue to worship untill pastor need to ask us to go, hahaha.
this is a very small but powerful camp. lives been change and restored. lots of testimony from the young people saying this is the best camp they have attended so far, Glory to God.
